Must-Have Kitchen Tools: A Guide to My Favorite Gadgets

March 6, 2024 · In: Home

I consider myself a pretty good cook. I grew up in the Caribbean and I am also Puertorican so I have been introduced to many styles of cooking and I love recreating my childhood dishes on a weekly basis. I also LOVE to bake; breads, brownies, cakes, tiramisu, pies, pastries and so much more! But I couldn’t do most of what I do without my trusty kitchen tools and gadgets and they make my life so much easier in the kitchen.

Here are some of my favorite kitchen essentials I use on a weekly basis:

Rotary Cheese Grater

This rotary cheese grater is not only great for cheese but for vegetables as well. It has multiple blades: grating blade, a course grating blade and a slicing blade. I normally use this to grate my cheese in bulk, make pickled veggies and slicing my potatoes, cucumbers and cheeses.

All of these items can be found on my Amazon Store Front.

Beautiful Gridle by Drew Barrymore

I am absolutely in love with the Beautiful brand by Drew Barrymore. I use this gridle a couple time a week for pancakes, eggs, bacon, and even some meats for dinners during the week! The clean up is very easy too!

Cuisine Art Knife Set

I have ordered the latest version of this knife set every time I am due for a new set. I not only love how they are color coordinated but they are also great quality and I use them EVERYDAY!

Measuring Spoons

These measuring spoons are fantastic because they are magnetic and easy to store by just stacking them together. It also comes with a leveler for more precise measuring.

Vegetable Chopper

This vegetable chopper is a great addition to any kitchen. It has 8 interchangeable blades that slice, dice, chop, grate, and shred vegetables, fruits, cheese nuts, and more! It makes cooking easy and quick…perfect for busy families.

Measuring Cups

I know this set comes with measuring spoons and a whisk, which is an added bonus, BUT…..these measuring cups are great for the kitchen for obvious reasons!

All of these items can be found on my Amazon Store Front.

Beautiful Mixer by Drew Barrymore

I finally got a mixer for the kitchen last fall and it has been a game changer! I’ve amped up my baking skills and have been making breads, bagels, donuts, and so much more! I have this linked to Amazon but you can find them cheaper at Walmart.

Mixing Bowls

These mixing bowls are another great option for the kitchen because of the size variety. I use these for everything and they are easy to clean!

Ninja Blender

I have had this exact blender for almost 10 years. We make everything from baby food to fruit smoothies to milkshakes. We love the fact that you can blend smoothies in the to-go cups with the different attachments…making it easy to clean up!
