Quick and Easy Garlic Rolls Recipe with Frozen Yeast Rolls

May 21, 2024 · In: Dinner, Recipes, Sourdough & Bread

Who doesn’t love the warm, buttery aroma of freshly baked garlic rolls? They’re the perfect addition to any meal, from pasta nights to holiday feasts. And the best part? You don’t have to be a master baker to enjoy them at home. With premade frozen yeast rolls, you can whip up a batch of delicious garlic rolls in no time. Ready to transform store-bought dough into a savory treat? Let’s get started!

This is what they look like….

Here’s what you need to do……

Place about 6-9 rolls in a greased baking dish (9×13).

Cover dish with clear plastic wrap and let sit on the counter for a few hours until they look like the picture below. I normally take them out first thing in the morning and let them sit out all day until I pop them in the oven.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt 1/2 stick of butter, and add 1 tbs of parsley, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tbs of garlic powder and 1 tbs of parmesan cheese.

With a spoon, (not a brush because you can deflate the rolls) evenly pour all of the butter mixture over the rolls. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 20 min or until golden brown.

You can serve this with most pasta dishes!

Variations to Try

  • Cheesy Garlic Rolls: Add shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese on top before baking for an extra cheesy treat.
  • Herb-Infused Rolls: Mix in other fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary with the garlic butter for an herbaceous twist.
  • Spicy Garlic Rolls: Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a bit of heat.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can I use refrigerated dough instead of frozen yeast rolls? A: Yes, you can use refrigerated dough, but adjust the rising time according to the package instructions, as it may be shorter.

Q: How do I store leftover garlic rolls? A: Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 300°F for 5-7 minutes to refresh them.

Q: Can I prepare the garlic butter in advance? A: Absolutely! You can make the garlic butter a day ahead and store it in the refrigerator. Just reheat it gently before brushing it on the rolls.

Creating delicious garlic rolls at home has never been easier thanks to premade frozen yeast rolls. With a few simple steps and some flavorful ingredients, you can have a batch of warm, buttery garlic rolls ready to elevate any meal. Whether it’s a weeknight dinner or a special occasion, these garlic rolls are sure to impress. So, grab your ingredients and get ready to bake up some savory goodness!
